Announcing a Very Special Autumn 2023 Lutyens Trip
Exploring Lutyens: Northumberland, Scotland, and Windsor – Greywalls, Lindisfarne, and Runnymede

You’re invited!
From a tidal island in Northumberland to a golf course retreat in Scotland, Lutyens provided amazing architectural solutions for his clients. We’ll be staying at Greywalls (Lutyens, 1900), designed for Alfred Lyttleton, MP on land bordering the famous links at Muirfield, Scotland. We’ll day trip to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. Edward Hudson, founder and publisher of Country Life magazine commissioned Lutyens to reimagine a centuries old castle fortress as a summer retreat (1903). We’ll visit other sites in Northumberland such as Blagdon Hall (gardens, 1937-38).
After our visit in Northumberland, we’ll be heading down to Windsor for some very special tours and activities. Contact Robin Prater ([email protected]) for specific details and questions.
