The Lutyens Traveling Fellowship provides a $7,000 award for emerging professionals in architecture, art history, interior design, historic preservation, or the decorative arts.
We would like to express our appreciation to Gary and Margaret Bergstrom for their sponsorship of this year’s Lutyens Traveling Fellowship.
We would like to thank all the applicants that applied for this fourth annual fellowship. The Lutyens Traveling Fellowship Jury was impressed by the level of interest and the quality of the submissions. The variety, complexity, and depth of ideas aptly demonstrated the value of continuing to study and learn from Sir Edwin Lutyens’s body of work.
After much discussion and deliberation, the jurors were able to narrow down the applicants to three highly qualified finalists that deserve special recognition: Spicer Emge, Tong Guam, and Sebastian VanDerbeck.
