    The Lutyens Trust is an educational non-profit entity dedicated to enhancing appreciation, study, and conservation of the works of Sir Edwin Lutyens, O.M., K.C.I.E., P.R.A., who died on New Year’s Day 1944.

    Our aims and objectives include:

    1. To promote the preservation of the buildings, gardens, and objects designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens OM (including those gardens designed in partnership with Miss Gertrude Jekyll, and generally to protect and preserve their original character and amenities
    2. To raise the profile of Lutyens’s work in the public and academic arena and in the architectural profession
    3. To promote better understanding and appreciation of the interconnection between American and British architecture, in particular of the works of E. L. Lutyens.
    4. To undertake and promote any form of research in connection with Lutyens’s buildings, gardens and objects and any other related matters; and to provide for the dissemination and publication of the results for the benefit of the public.
